This second in our Making Democracy Work series will be a panel discussion: Women Rising: A New Wave of Leadership.
A panel of three women leaders representing business, advocacy, and politics will discuss their experiences, including challenges, growth, overcoming adversity and finding their inner strength or resilience.
The panel will feature:
Nicole Snow, founder and CEO of Darn Good Yarn, a Saratoga County company committed to promoting sustainable and fair jobs around the globe.
Tierra Stewart, National Fellows Program Director at IGNITE, a nonpartisan organization for young women to run for public office.
Nicole Margiasso, Public Affairs Organizer for Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson, facilitator of the Saratoga PP Action Council, and affiliate of Vox, the student-run reproductive justice group on the Skidmore College campus.
All presentations are free and open to the public. Students of all ages are encouraged to attend.
