Meetup: The Roots and Rise of White Nationalism in the USA (2/15/23)
This program traces both little known and obvious events along our nation’s path to current challenges with the white supremacy movement. These include slave medicine, reconstruction, race extinction, Jim Crow, lynchings, eugenics, redlining, and voter suppression. Teach Me To Vote is a program promoted by the League of Women Voters of Saratoga County to help students learn about our elections and voting. Funded by the League and supported by Stewart’s Shops, this video was produced and written by Suzanne Bishop and hosted by Lezlie Dana. The League offers it for distribution to school superintendents across the state of NY.
