Presenter, Peter M. Iwanowicz, is the Executive Director of Environmental Advocates of New York. He has recently appointed to the State Climate Action Council, the 22-member body that is charged under the Climate Leadership &
Community Protection Act to draft the plan that moves the state entirely off of fossil fuels by 2050. The new climate law requires the plan to be grounded in equity for communities and workers.
