Lt. Col. Clarence W. Dart, Sr. was a World War II fighter pilot and member of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first Black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps, a precursor of the U.S. Air Force. During World War II, Dart was shot down twice earning two purple hearts. He was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross award. Later, he made his home in Saratoga Springs.
On Sunday, August 7, Lt. Col. Dart will be honored with a reception, presentation and dedication. Please join us for this historic and memorable event!
