In her long, tumultuous life, which ended just short of a century, Georgia O’Keeffe transmitted her most intimate feelings onto her canvases. But her daily life, her private thoughts, her insecurities, her friendships, and every inch of her development as an artist were zealously guarded, leaving the world to wonder about this enigmatic woman.
Claire Nolan will share a glimpse of this remarkable artist. Please join us in our quest to learn more about Georgia O’Keeffe.
A bit about Claire Nolan: As the seventh of ten children, she has been listening to stories all her life, some of them true. As a teacher of English to speakers of other languages, she has been telling stories to immigrants and international students. Some of those might also be true. Claire’s repertoire includes historical stories, international folk tales, myths, literary and personal family stories. Many of these resonate with audiences young and old.
