Jennifer Wilson, Deputy Director of LWVNY, will speak (for about 30 minutes) on the Topic of Ethics Reform. This will be followed by a presentation (Ann Kril and Barb Thomas) on how to lobby and then by organizing into groups to contact legislators.

Understand the League’s priorities for this year well enough to lobby for them with your friends and neighbors and with the folks who represent us at the NYS level. The do’s and don’ts of lobbying.

Meetups are a way for us to come together to explore, understand and advocate for issues that matter to us and are focused on our members and their interests. We are open to the public so bring a friend.
