The pandemic has altered the access that people have to their legislators and to executive office staff. Staff and legislators are often working from home and the number of people allowed to walk the halls of government is limited. The League of Women Voters of Saratoga County (LWVSC) has scheduled a virtual program, Advocating in the Time of COVID, to provide people with tactics to overcome these obstacles.
Blair Horner, executive director of the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) will talk about ways individuals can influence legislation. Jennifer Wilson, deputy director of the League of Women Voters of NYS (LWVNY) will explain the League’s legislative agenda for 2021.
