Volunteers will help people register to vote for the first time or make changes to their voter
registration. And now 16- and 17-year olds can preregister to vote.
This year we are partnering with Stewarts Shops at eleven of their locations across Saratoga,
Warren and Washington counties. Another big change this year will be the concept of Drive Thru registration. Most of our registration sites will be outdoors, primarily in parking lots. Volunteers will have “Grab ‘n Go” packets to hand out to voters to register, change party or address. We will include several items of interest in each packet (for instance, early voting information). People will be welcome to complete the forms and return them to us to take to the Board of Elections or they may take the packet home and mail in their registration or absentee ballot application.
